This year’s hiking season started with a short hike to Kennedy Falls located in North Vancouver. Ram and I started from Langley at around 8 am and reached the trailhead at around 9 am. There were a few other people warming up for the hike. The morning air felt fresh and rejuvenating. From here following the trail, we reached the falls after 3 hours. Somewhere in the middle we came across a huge tree. We briefly stopped here took some pics and moved on. At the falls we took a short break where we enjoyed the views and the sound of the waterfalls, as it echoed through the forest. Soon, we hiked back which took another 1.5 hours. It was a simple, straightforward hike, a good first one for the year.
