On a pleasant Saturday in September of this year, My friend Ram and I did a hike in the Mt. Seymour Provincial Park. This was my first hike in the Lower Mainland since moving back here a month ago. We hiked to pump peak and Tim Jones peak.
Mt Seymour Provincial Park is spread out over an area of 36 sq kms and is located around 15 kms north from downtown Vancouver. This park forms a part of the North shore mountains. The highest elevation is at Mt Bishop which is at 1509 metres and second highest is Mt Seymour at 1449 metres. There is also a Ski Resort located in the park.
