Back in May this year, on one Sunday me and my roommate made a sudden plan to visit the town of Princeton which lies west 2.5 hrs. away from Kelowna. In the town we made a quick stop in the Museum. This was a nice well maintained Museum. Princeton had a colorful past so the the Museum trip was very interesting. The famous train robber Bill Miner used to live here under a false name. He lived a dual life. Normally he behaved as a well respected citizen of the town and on the other side he used to go out and commit train robberies. Interestingly, the act of pointing a gun at a person and showing ”hands up” is credited to him. For me the most interesting exhibit in the Museum was a newspaper clipping from 1906 showing the arrest of Bill Miner and his associates. Co incidentally just a few days before this trip, on Facebook I saw a post where someone posted a pic of the Wanted Poster of Bill Miner. These two things neatly tied up his story. We went around the town, took some random strolls, visited a couple of view points nearby and then called it a day.
