This book talks about the factors which can make or break a project, be it a small project like a Kitchen Renovation or a mega project like building a new terminal of an airport. The author, who is an expert on troubleshooting projects which are delayed, over budget or are just in any kind of trouble, talks about why big projects routinely go over budget or over time and suggests ways those can be avoided.

As the title mentions this book is about some of the most famous and significant Muslim empires which flourished in South India from the 1300s to the 1700s. At many times during the pre Mughal phase, cities in South India like Bidar and Bijapur were the largest and most sophisticated in the whole country. But unfortunately not many people know how important cities like Bijapur, Bidar, Gulbarga were at one point of time in History. This book looks to recount the history of the kingdoms that existed during that time.

What is it about? : This book is about the history of a region which does not get the same attention that it more than deserves; south India. Medieval Deccan had some of the most important and significant kingdoms to have existed in the history of India and Hinduism as well and yet it does not get the same attention the northern part of India and its history gets.
